There’s no complicated setup: mount the unit and load cell, connect them with the RS-485-to-USB cable, add power and internet, and live dynagraph cards start streaming. Dynacloud RIO Edge Unit

Core

An industrial edge unit that solves surface and downhole dynagraph cards right at the wellhead. It arrives pre-provisioned to your account and comes online on its own the moment it has power and internet — no integrator, no field calibration day. Every RIO pairs with the Wireless Load Cell & Receiver, which connects over a single RS-485-to-USB cable.

Wireless Load Cell & Receiver

Required

The only sensors a rod pump needs — polished-rod load and position, wireless, with no pressure transmitters to plumb. The load cell clamps on the polished rod (no wired load cell, spherical washers, or conduit); its receiver connects to the RIO over the RS-485-to-USB connector. Required with every RIO Edge Unit.

We provision it for you

Before your unit leaves us, it’s registered to your account, loaded with its device certificate, and paired with its wireless sensors. It knows who it belongs to on arrival.

You mount it & add internet

Clamp the wireless load cell on the polished rod, connect its receiver to the unit with the RS-485-to-USB cable, give the unit power, and get it on the internet — Wi-Fi, cellular, or Starlink. Most sites are done in under an hour.

Cards start streaming

The unit comes online on its own and begins solving cards at the wellhead. Open the well in Dynacloud and you’re watching live dynagraph cards and diagnosis within minutes.
